I became a parent governor at Edmondsley in 2016 after my daughter started in reception class in 2015. My daughter is extremely happy and settled at the school and I wanted to become a more active member in the school community.
I have taught at various institutions across the north east over the last 13 years as an A-level teacher in Law. I have predominately taught in FE colleges until recently where I have now moved into a sixth form within a school environment.
I work for a national exam board marking both AS and A-level papers and have done so since I began my teaching career.
The majority of my time outside of work is dedicated to being a mum to my two little girls and spending as much time with them as possible. We enjoy going on family holidays and I also go to the gym when time allows.
